Police in Chapel Hill are looking for three people Saturday who led state troopers on a chase. The group fired shots at the trooper and hit multiple vehicles in the process.
They abandoned the car near Timber Hollow Court.

The man who spoke with WRAL News said this is probably the last thing you want to see when you're getting in your car going to work in the morning.
According to State Highway Patrol, deputies attempted to stop a stolen car around 2:30 a.m. going 113 miles per hour in a 65 zone. The driver led deputies on a chase, and passengers began firing shots at the trooper hitting multiple parked cars.
All three people in the car, wearing ski masks, abandoned the car and fled the scene.
Cody Millward jumped out of bed last night after hearing gunfire right outside his window. When he walked outside this morning his windshield had multiple bullet holes.
“It’s stressful. Because I have to deal with the insurance company and I have to deal with this and I have to figure out If they can find it or not," Millward, victim said. "It’s a lot to process and it’s a little bit embarrassing driving around my vehicle with bullets When all I do is go to work and back. I have to do bullets in my car.”
No one was injured.
