Police serving warrant leads to SWAT unit outside Cary home; one person detained

Police said officers serving an arrest warrant led to a SWAT situation Tuesday outside of a Cary home.

WRAL's Sky 5 captured several Cary police vehicles and a SWAT team truck outside a home on Transom View Way.

According to the Cary Police Department, officers were serving an arrest warrant for a domestic violence protection order violation.

At least six SWAT members came out of the home.

Sky 5 also spotted officers putting one man in the back of their cruiser in handcuffs.

Police said they arrested Todd Michael Hallerman, 53, and charged him with violating a domestic violence protection order. Hallerman was taken to the Wake County Detention Center.
