A Cary High School student is charged with having a weapon on campus, according to the Cary Police Department.
Isaiah Holley, 18, is accused of and charged with one misdemeanor count each having a weapon on educational property and resisting a public officer.

According to CPD, Holley brought an airsoft gun to school and was showing it off to his friends. Another student reported it and Holley was pulled from class by school administrators and the gun was recovered by a School Resource Officer.
Wake County Public Schools said parents were immediately notified of the incident but the school was never placed on a lockdown.
Holley was released on a $5,000 unsecured bond. He’s due back in court in October.
Almost two weeks ago, a Johnston County school was temporarily on lockdown after a BB gun was detected through the school's weapon detection system. Upon the notification, school officials and local law enforcement apprehended that student who was in possession of that weapon.
