Car crashed into column outside Clayton Lowes Foods

The Clayton Police Department said on Friday a car crashed into a building column at Lowes Foods on Clayton Boulevard.

They did not say what caused a driver to hit another car, then the column.

Video from Sky 5 showed debris on the ground around the column. The area was blocked off by police tape and caution signs.

Police said neither people involved in the crash were injured. The store remained open despite the damage outside.
