New cases, people in hospital with coronavirus in NC continue on slow downward trend
— On Friday, the state reported 1,346 new cases of the novel coronavirus and 1,049 people being treated for COVID-19 in hospitals, the latest in a series of days in which those numbers have been lower than the day before.
