Authorities have canceled an Amber Alert for a missing Surry County teen.
The alert was issued Wednesday for Valeria Gonzales Hernandez. The NC State Bureau of Investigation canceled the alert Thursday morning for the 13-year-old. On the bureau's social media page, the teen was reportedly found safe by Raleigh police and was being transported home.

The teen was reported missing on June 25 from her home in Mount Airy. The Surry County Sheriff's Office said the girl's disappearance initially did not meet the criteria for an Amber Alert. According to the sheriff's office, the investigation developed new leads that allowed for the issuance of an Amber Alert on Wednesday.
On June 25, the teen was seen at a bus station at 2210 Capital Blvd. in Raleigh, authorities said. A surveillance camera captured her picture as she got off a bus.
Authorities have not released further details.
