WRAL continues to investigate claims that CJF America is not paying their employees.
Multiple former employees of the Durham-based nonprofit who we’ve interviewed say as of Wednesday morning, they still had not been paid.

An email from CJF America after WRAL Investigates’ first story said they had issues with "our internal payment processing infrastructure."
On Aug. 1, WRAL Investigates Reporter Sarah Krueger spoke with CJF's chief financial officer, Nick Gallardo, after approaching him at Dix Park in Raleigh where CJF was sponsoring a camp.
"So what we’re doing is working with our attorney and our HR specialist to handle the situation,” Gallardo said. “We are completely aware of what’s going on with everybody, and we’re making sure that we address the situation appropriately."
That was all Gallardo would say, citing the children he was tasked with watching over in that moment.
CJF America's website lists the group as an arm of the Courtney Jordan Foundation.
While CJF America IS listed on the North Carolina Secretary of State's website, the foundation is not.
"The Courtney Jordan Group, Inc." was suspended by the state Department of Revenue in 2017.
WRAL Investigates has tried to reach Courtney Jordan multiple times, leaving voicemails and sending emails to every contact we could find.
WRAL’s Monica Casey went by an address on Jordan's 2024 voter registration. There were cars in the driveway, but no answer at the door.
Durham police told WRAL Investigates on Tuesday evening that their investigation into the lack of payment is ongoing.
