Durham educators are meeting today with the school board to push for policy changes.

The Durham Association of Educators said they plan to address policies for raising grievances, bereavement leave and pay.

Thursday's meeting is part of a new district policy to meet with teachers and staff about ways to improve conditions.

The Durham Association of Educators will hold a news conference at 5 p.m. just before meeting with the board.
