CARY, N.C. — Two Cary teens were denied a new trial for arson Tuesday.

The state court of appeals rejected the plea of Cassandra Boston and Carryne Satterwhite for a new trial on charges they set fire to a Cary home in 2006.

Boston and Satterwhite, who are sisters, and a friend, Faith Sherrie Streeter, were each charged with first-degree arson.

Ivany Mims was inside the home with her three children. No one was injured in the fire.

Mims said the fire was a result of an escalating feud between two families.
