Healthy Choice POWER BOWLS Korean-Style Beef frozen meals have been recalled due to misbranding and undeclared allergens.

Valley International Cold Storage Acquisition, LLC, out of Harlingen, Texas recalled approximately 22,061 pounds of the frozen meals because they contain milk, which is not declared on the product label.  They were shipped to retail locations nationwide.
According to the recall notice from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS), the products are labeled as Korean-Style Beef, but actually contain a chicken sausage and pepper product, which contains milk.

The recalled meals were produced on July 22, 2022, have the establishment number “34622” on the end flap of the carton and include:

9.25-oz. cartons labeled as “Healthy Choice POWER BOWLS Korean-Style Beef” with lot code “5246220320” and a “best if used by” date of 04-18-2023.

The recall indicates, "FSIS is concerned that some product may be in consumers’ freezers. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase."
