RALEIGH, N.C. — The owner of downtown Raleigh's Hibernian Pub, which was destroyed by fire nearly one month ago, is planning to open the doors soon of a new version of the beloved bar.

In a posting on the Facebook page for Hibernian Pub North Raleigh, the bar says it hopes to open within the next three to six weeks at 8021 Falls of Neuse Road.

There's still no word on when owner Niall Hanley plans to rebuild the Hibernian in Glenwood South. It was destroyed Dec. 27 by a grease fire.

Hanley also runs a third Hibernian on Kildaire Farm Road in Cary.
