If you could combine two of your favorite foods, what would they be? cookies and cereal? Or how about a pizza and a sandwich?

If you chose the latter, get ready to indulge in a new creation hitting grocery store shelves now. New Red Baron Pizza Melts are indeed a pizza and sandwich in one, delivering pizza taste, but between crispy toast instead of over dough.

Available in three flavors — pepperoni, four-cheese and supreme — you can find the pizza-flavored sandwiches in the freezer aisles of grocery stores nationwide for around $3.50. They can be prepared in the microwave in 3 minutes, which is much less time than it would take to bake a pizza — or even order one!

The Papadia comes in five varieties: Italian, Philly cheesesteak, grilled BBQ chicken, bacon-meatball-pepperoni and grilled buffalo chicken.

Each is served with a different sauce, such as pizza, garlic or BBQ.

You could also try making your own pizza sandwich by simply placing your favorite toppings on toasted bread or inside a grilled cheese.

This recipe from Land O Lakes calls for Italian bread, butter, pizza sauce, basil and whatever other toppings you choose, like pepperoni. It takes about 25 minutes to make, including prep time.

If you’re simply looking for a new pizza to try, Red Baron also has a stuffed-crust pizza, which has mozzarella baked right into the crust.

The new pizzas have a unique rectangular shape, so you’ll be eating squares of pizza instead of triangular slices. Available in pepperoni, four-cheese and meat-trio, the pizza is in select Walmart and Kroger stores for around $7.49. It is slated to roll out across the freezer aisle of grocery stores nationwide in May 2021.
