New ALDI in Holly Springs now open

The new ALDI grocery store in Holly Springs is open for business and customers will be able to take advantage of curbside pickup and delivery at this location.

The new ALDI grocery store in Holly Springs is now open for business.

The store is located at 7400 GB Alford Hwy., Holly Springs, NC and the hours are 9 a.m. - 8 p.m, Monday through Sunday.

According to the company, this location "is part of the company’s national expansion plan to become the third-largest U.S. grocery retailer by store count by the end of 2022. Like all ALDI stores, the new Holly Springs location features open ceilings, natural lighting and are built with environmentally friendly materials."

ALDI announced the opening on Dec. 7, 2020 although the store has actually been open since the weekend.

During the pandemic, some stores have had a quiet opening like this one to avoid grand opening crowds.

According to Krysta Cearley, Salisbury Division Vice President for ALDI, customers will be able to take advantage of curbside pickup and delivery at this location. She shared the following details regarding curbside and delivery:

"We are pleased to bring convenience, quality and value right to shoppers’ doorsteps through online grocery delivery. Holly Springs customers can order their favorite ALDI products for delivery via shop.aldi.us.

Additionally, we’re excited to share that the Holly Springs store will offer curbside grocery pickup for its customers by the end of this month. Earlier this year, we saw a sudden increase for grocery delivery and pickup, and we mobilized to address the trend. In addition to our existing delivery service, which serves nearly 200 million Americans, we accelerated the rollout of curbside pickup to bring the offering to nearly 700 stores in 35 states this year.

Customers can visit shop.aldi.us or enter their ZIP code in the Instacart mobile app to place a curbside order. At checkout, customers then choose a desired pickup time and store location, and there are designated areas for pickup at ALDI stores. Customers can look for the blue spaces in ALDI parking lots. Upon arrival, ALDI employees will load groceries directly into shoppers' cars."

In September 2019, ALDI announced that four new locations would be coming to the Triangle including stores in Raleigh, Cary & Holly Springs.

The Raleigh location at 6101 Capital Blvd. opened in October 2019.

The Cary location at 1315 Kildaire Farm Road opened on October 17, 2019.
