New Aldi Grand Opening in Raleigh on October 31 with gift card giveaway
The new Aldi grocery store in Raleigh is having their Grand Opening on Thursday, October 31. There will be a gift card giveaway for the first 100 in line, lots of free samples, free reusable grocery bags and more! The current store on Louisburg Rd. will be closing a few days before the new store opens. Read on for the details.
Posted — UpdatedThe current Raleigh store at 4241 Louisburg Rd. will be closing on Saturday, October 19 and relocating to the new location, at 6101 Capital Blvd., Raleigh, NC 27616.
Grand Opening Events
After the ribbon cutting at 8:30 am, and the golden ticket gift card giveaway, customers can tour the store, sample ALDI exclusive brand products (in the morning) and enter an on-site sweepstakes for a chance to win a year’s supply of ALDI produce.
According to their release, Aldi has recently expanded their selection making 20% of the store's products new.
In the past, customers have arrived very early to Aldi Grand Opening events in order to score a gift card. If you show up at 8:30 am, you will probably be there too late to be one of the first 100 people in line.
There are a number of new Aldi locations opening in the Triangle including Raleigh, Cary and Holly Springs.
