Need a waffle fry fix? Downtown Raleigh Chick-fil-A now open for dinner

This location is a bit different from other Chick-fil-As that you may have visited. There are no kids meals or small sizes - just medium and large. But, if you're looking for a quick nugget waffle and fry fix, you'll find those there.

In my time in downtown Raleigh, I've seen a few families head down to the Chick-fil-A on Fayetteville Street for a quick dinner after a day at Marbles Kids Museum, for instance, only to find out that it closed at 5 p.m. In fact, I was that mom once when I promised my kids a milkshake one day many years ago.

Well ... if that's been you, there's some big news. Starting this month, the restaurant will stay open until 7 p.m. on weekdays. The hours now are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday. It still is closed on Saturdays and, of course, Sundays (just like every other Chick-fil-A).

The downtown Chick-fil-A is at 400 Fayetteville St.
