NCDOT to hold meeting on proposed Chatham County intersection improvements

Proposed improvements to the intersection of U.S. 421 and N.C. 902 near Goldston will be the focus of a public meeting set for next week.

GOLDSTON, N.C. — Proposed improvements to the intersection of U.S. 421 and N.C. 902 near Goldston will be the focus of a public meeting set for next week.

The N.C. Department of Transportation proposes to upgrade the intersection to improve traffic flow and safety. Project information will be posted to the NCDOT public meeting webpage as it becomes available.

The meeting is set for 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 20, at Sandy Branch Baptist Church, 715 Sandy Branch Church Road in Bear Creek. People can stop by at any time during those hours to speak with project representatives and offer input that will be considered in project design and development. Written comments may also be submitted by phone or email by Sept. 3.
