NC State's swimming and dive team will launch its upcoming season with a free event this weekend that features some intrasquad challenges and an opportunity to celebrate the men's and women's accomplishments.

The 5th annual Wolfpack Games is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, Sept. 27, at the Willis R. Casey Aquatic Center, 2611 Cates Ave., Raleigh. They'll be giving out light up batons to the first 500 fans, offering a chance to win tickets to the NC State vs. Louisville football game on Nov. 16 and setting up a fan zone meet and greet with members of the team. The fan zone opens up at 5 p.m.

Admission is free. For young swimmers and divers who might be considering a college sports career or who just love the sport, these events are great opportunities to see what the next level of swimming and diving looks like.

The teams' regular season starts Oct. 25.
