NC State police investigating sexual assault reported at fraternity house

— Police at North Carolina State University are investigating a report of a sexual assault.

According to the school, a female student reported she was assaulted at 2312 Greek Village Drive, the address for Sigma Nu Fraternity.

The student told police that the assault occurred early Sunday morning and that she knew the assailant.

According to the student organization page on N.C. State's website, Sigma Nu is on disciplinary probation through April 13 due to a violation including alcohol.

The reported assault is under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call University Police at 919-515-3000.
