RALEIGH, N.C. — Two young men who played baseball for North Carolina State University heard from a judge Monday that they face the possibility of jail time.

David Harrison, 21, and Kent Klyman, 23, have been suspended from the Wolfpack baseball team and face charges of breaking and entering.

Investigators with the N.C. State Police Department say the pair broke into Hudson Hall in the campus' Wolf Village complex last Wednesday for the specific purpose of terrorizing and injuring a student who lives there.

Klyman is also accused of punching Johnathan Monroe in the face multiple times.

"If convicted of these charges, you do face the possibility of going to jail," District Court Judge Debra S. Sasser told the men.

WRAL News was the only news outlet in the courtroom, and both men and their attorneys declined an opportunity to speak.

Both men made bond. They are scheduled to be back in court on April 19.

Students who spoke to WRAL News expressed disappointment.

"They're supposed to be, kind of, role models. Everybody looks at them. They're the big, cool people of the school, so it is disappointing," Stacey Gore said.
