Natural sciences museum plans teen volunteer fair this month

The N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences will host a teen volunteer fair from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Feb. 25.

The N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences in downtown Raleigh will host a teen volunteer fair from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Feb. 25.

During the event, teens can learn more about teen volunteer opportunities, meet current participants and ask questions about the application process. Opportunities include Junior Curator for teens who love animals and exploring nature; Junior Volunteers for those who love talking about nature topics with the public; Cafe Coordinator to help plan Teen Science Cafes; and Teen Newsroom for teens interested in photography, video, writing or graphics.

The fair takes places at the museum's Nature Research Center, 121 West Jones St. Parents are welcome to attend. No RSVP needed. Need more information?
