RALEIGH, N.C. — A Nash County grand jury has indicted a man in the death seven months ago of his second wife.
Police in Arizona arrested Rexford Lynn Keel Jr., a Nash County man who goes by Lynn, on March 17 in connection with the murder of his wife, Diane Keel.

Following the indictment, Nash County prosecutors will now set a trial in Superior Court. He was charged previously with first-degree murder in the case.

Nash County law enforcement officials have said Keel is the lone suspect in the murder of his wife. He was arrested around 11:30 a.m. during a traffic stop near Tucson, Arizona.

A tipster told Nash County officials that Keel fled west, Nash County Sheriff Keith Stone said Sunday afternoon during a press conference.
