ZEBULON, N.C. — Nash County deputies said an incident where a man had barricaded himself inside a home ended peacefully late Saturday night.

WRAL's Casey Cunningham reports Rogelio Leon Aguilar, 39, of 3766 Brantley Road, was taken into custody by deputies. Officials said he was wishing to commit suicide. They also said there likely will be no charges and they just want to get him some help.

Aguilar was scheduled to see a magistrate and get a mental evaluation, officials said.

The Nash County Sheriff's Office reported on its Facebook page Saturday night the incident was taking place at a home on the 3700 block of Brantley Road, which is between Middlesex and Zebulon. Officials said deputies had responded to a call of an upset male earlier in the evening. Shots were fired inside the home but there were no injuries.

Officials had put up barricades near the home and were not allowing vehicles to approach.
