<p>it's a powerful ally for anyone to have the N double A C. P. And now thanks in part to the Moment of Truth documentary produced by Capitol broadcasting the north Carolina, N double A C. P. Learned about the case and is supporting Daniel Green. He's the man convicted of killing Michael Jordan's father and he has a bid for a new hearing. Amanda lamb breaks it down for us. He sent me a link to the documentary that was done Moment of Truth. A five part docuseries produced by Capitol broadcasting about the murder of James Jordan was dr t Anthony Spearman's first in depth introduction to Daniel Greene's case. After seeing that the first documentary, the first segment of the documentary, I began to do some other enquiring the Naacp doesn't take the decision lightly to get involved in a criminal case. The scrutiny that that I personally apply to situations such as these is very deep and wide and it's been learned over a lifetime of experience. Spearmon started talking to people involved in the case, including Green Daniel and I have been speaking quite frequently here of late, he became convinced of greens innocence. I do believe that a injustice is being Wazed on this young man who I, I do not believe was there at the time and is telling the truth about all of that. Spearmon hopes that some of the new publicity surrounding the case will reach the Jordan family. I have made an effort to reach out to the family through some mutual acquaintances until someone listens, Spearmon says the Naacp will be in Greene's corner. Daniel has had a time of cruel cruelty being levied on him through the years that he's been incarcerated and deserves a day in court to really have things heard. Amanda lamb WRL Tv and Amanda spoke to Daniel Green Tuesday from prison, he told her he's very appreciative of the NaACP support. I'm meteorologist, Kat Campbell in the wr a severe weather center, a turbulent week ahead with more storm threats on the horizon, severe weather threats, a level two risk Wednesday and Thursday because of that these days and nicer wr weather alert days. If we take a look at our cold front, it's still well to the west. But as it gets closer to us, we're going to have more forcing for storms to develop and a ripe atmosphere for those storms to intensify, damaging wind gusts and hail are the main concerns though an isolated tornado will be possible. Storms most likely Wednesday night overnight into early Thursday and there could be another chance later Thursday, depending on how that Wednesday night round evolved. So let's first talk about the Wednesday a few hit or miss storms possible pretty much anywhere during the afternoon, but the main, so look like it would come overnight. So we're talking past midnight, likely through very early Thursday morning, 234, 5 a.m. And then the second round approaches from the west and depending on how that first round goes, that's going to determine the strength and the timing of the second round. This model in particular has a moving through a bit early in the day. We'll watch to see if that trend holds. Keep checking in for updates as we get closer to Thursday for Wednesday. It's hot, high temperatures in the upper eighties to lower nineties just isolated storm chances during the day. But that chance, of course, going up later at night, if we look at how hot it's been this spring, it's pretty remarkable. It feels more like summer than spring and it is the warmest spring to date on record at RDU. Temperatures are running 4.7 degrees normal, almost five degrees above normal. We do have a cold front coming and some below normal temperatures briefly return at the forecast Friday, 78. Still some scattered storms around Saturday. We dry out to start the weekend, 75 of the high and near 80 on Mother's Day. Mother's Day is trending drier on Sunday with more sunshine. And you, I notice the cooler weather this weekend when you get to the nighttime hours early in the morning lows dip back in the fifties. A much drier, less humid air returns for the weekend. That should last until early next week. But we still have to get through the turbulent weather first. The worst of it comes Wednesday and Thursday, Friday still some scattered storms. But at this point, those are less likely to be severe.
