N.Y. driver dies in single-car wreck on I-95
A driver from New York died Tuesday when he crashed his car into a bridge support under Sunnyside School Road along Interstate 95 in Cumberland County.
Posted — UpdatedFAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A driver from New York died Tuesday when he crashed his car into a bridge support under Sunnyside School Road along Interstate 95 in Cumberland County.
The state Highway Patrol did not release the identity of the driver and was still investigating the cause of the wreck Tuesday afternoon.
No other cars were involved.
Inspectors from the state Department of Transportation said there was no structural damage to the bridge.
