N. Johnston student had gun on school grounds, authorities charge
Joshua Williams, a student at North Johnston High School, faces charges for having a gun in his car on school property, police said.
Posted — UpdatedKENLY, N.C. — Joshua Williams, a student at North Johnston High School, faces charges that he brought a gun to school.
Williams, 16, was charged with possession of a gun on educational property.
A school resource officer said Williams may have gone hunting and forgotten that the gun was in his car. No ammunition was found in the car.
