N.C. Zoo polar bears enjoy a snow day treat

Nikita, who is pictured in the foreground of the photo above, is an 11-year-old male who weighs 1,203 pounds. Anana is an 18-year-old female who weighs 796 pounds.
The zoo is an arctic ambassador center in partnership with Polar Bears International, an environmental nonprofit organization dedicated to the conservation of wild polar bears and their habitat, according to a press release.
Because of the storm, the zoo will remained closed through Thursday.
