N.C. State Student Injured in Robbery
A North Carolina State University student was injured in a robbery near the school's baseball stadium early Thursday.
Posted — UpdatedThe victim told university police that five teenagers riding bicycles approached him as he walked near Doak Baseball Stadium around 3 a.m. Several of the teenagers hit the student and took some of his personal property.
The student's injuries were non-life-threatening. No weapons were used during the robbery.
University police officers apprehended two suspects immediately after the robbery. Three suspects were still on the loose.
Police described one suspect as a dark-complexioned male teenager, 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds. He wore a bandanna and black T-shirt and shorts.
The second suspect is light-complexioned male teenager, 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing 160 pounds. He has a muscular build and wore dark clothing.
The third suspect is a dark-complexioned male teenager, 6 feet tall and weighing about 160 pounds. He wore a white, zip-up hooded sweatshirt with a green and pink diamond design.
