N.C. State's popular Farm Animal Days back this month
This very popular event features farm animals, tractors and much more. It's a great time for toddlers and preschoolers.
Posted — UpdatedThe event gives kids a chance to see and touch farm animals and learn about agriculture. It's designed for school field trips, but families and small groups are more than welcome. I just recommend that you get there as close to 9 a.m. as you can. That's when I got there last year and it filled up pretty quickly. Organizers also say that 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. also isn't as busy.
Kids will get to touch everything from chicks, turkeys and ducks to pigs, sheep, goats and rabbits. Tractors will be on display. And there's more. It takes about an hour to see it all.
