DURHAM, N.C. — The Museum of Life and Science has a couple of in-person programs for little ones and their caregivers.

Both Nature Babies and Nature Tots run for an hour and will be held every Wednesday in April.

Nature Babies is for babies 12 months and younger. Nature tots is for toddlers ages 1 to 3. The programs are limited to 12 parents and caregivers.

The cost is $116 for both the participating adult and child. There is a discount for museum members.

During the classes, according to the description, participants will explore the natural world through sensory play, games, nature walks, music and other outdoor activities.

"We’ll share tips for exploring different museum exhibits with your child and give you resources for supporting nature play through different stages of your child’s development," the description says.

Check the Durham museum's events page for details.
