Multi-vehicle crash closes part of Interstate 85 North in Durham County
Crews were on the scene of a multi-vehicle accident that closed part of Interstate 85 in Durham County Tuesday evening.

DURHAM, N.C. — Crews were on the scene of a multi-vehicle accident that closed part of Interstate 85 in Durham County Tuesday evening.
WRAL's Sky5 was above the scene and you could see multiple vehicles, including a car and SUV, involved in the crash. The area of I-85 that was closed was near Red Mill Road at Mile Marker 182.
Traffic was backed up for miles as crews were on the scene working on the accident and cleaning up the mess so roads could open again. Highway Patrol was also on the scene conducting an investigation.
