Motorcyclist seriously injured after crash in Cary
A motorcyclist was injured after getting hit by a SUV on Wednesday in Cary.

CARY, N.C. — A motorcyclist was injured after getting hit by a SUV on Wednesday in Cary.
Carolyn Roman with the Town of Cary confirmed to WRAL that the crash happened around 6 p.m. on Northwest Cary Parkway. The driver of the motorcycle was transported to WakeMed with serious injuries. The driver of the SUV was not injured.
Officials were still investigating how the accident happened and whether charges will be filed.
Northwest Cary Parkway was closed in all directions from Norwell Boulevard to Silverberry Court while the Traffic Safety Team investigated. The road has since been reopened.
