Motorcyclist hospitalized after being struck in hit-and-run in Raleigh
Jamal Desmond Jones, 23, the driver of the car, fled the scene of the crash but was soon arrested and charged with felony hit and run inflicting serious injury.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A motorcyclist is in the hospital after being struck in a hit-and-run collision in Raleigh Sunday.
Raleigh Police were dispatched to the corner of Capital Boulevard and Homestead Drive at approximately 12:58 p.m. Upon arrival, officers located the motorcyclist suffering with serious injuries and he was transported for treatment.
Jamal Desmond Jones, 23, the driver of the car, fled the scene of the crash but was soon arrested and charged with felony hit and run inflicting serious injury.
The investigation is ongoing.
