A woman and a teenage boy were shot at the Travel Lodge on Cedar Creek Rd in Fayetteville shortly after 10pm. Multiple police cars remain on scene. No suspect in custody. Investigation underway.

Greensboro police issued an Amber Alert on Thursday for Kayson Osiah Monk, 9 months, who is believed to be with Deon Lamar Monk, 23. Police did not say how the two are related.

A Raleigh man was killed in a wreck on Morrisville Parkway Saturday, when his motorcycle struck a Ford Explorer.

<b>MORRISVILLE, N.C.</b> — A Raleigh man was killed in a wreck on Morrisville Parkway Saturday, when his motorcycle struck a Ford Explorer.

Police responded to the wreck at the parkway's intersection with Golden Horseshoe Circle just before 3 p.m., where they pronounced Jorge Arango dead at the scene. Vincent Colucci, the driver of the Explorer, was not injured.

The wreck is still being investigated, authorities said. No charges have been filed.
