RALEIGH, N.C. — A motorcyclist was killed following a crash Thursday afternoon in Raleigh.
Authorities said a motorcycle driven by Blake Kristopher Tercero, 29, was traveling at a high rate of speed on Glenwood Avenue when it side-swiped a car in the center lane after popping a wheelie.
The motorcycle then ran off the road and struck a tree, according to a wreck report.
Tercero, a former Fort Bragg soldier, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the driver of the second vehicle was not injured.
