Robeson County officials found the 41-year-old mother and her 9-year-old child suffering from gunshot wounds around 10:14 a.m.
Officials said the mother was treated for non life-threatening injuries, and the child was transported to an undisclosed medical center to be treated for her injuries. The child’s medical condition is listed as critical.
