MORRISVILLE, N.C. — A Morrisville summer camp will close for a week after a camper tested positive for COVID-19.

The town confirmed that one child attending Camp Cedar Fork last week received a positive test.

Morrisville Communications and Outreach Director Wil Glenn said the camp was closed out of an abundance of caution. Officials said they're not aware of any other campers or staff who tested positive.

Camp Cedar Fork holds weekly sessions from mid-June through mid-August, with 45 slots each week for children ages 6 through 12. A senior camp hosts those ages 12-14.
