Morrisville man wanted in Durham child sex case

Durham police are seeking Jimmy Edward Brown, 26, of Morrisville, who is a suspect in separate child-molestation case and a sexual-assault cases.

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police are seeking a Morrisville man as a suspect in cases of child molestation and  sexual assault.

Police said Thursday that Jimmy Edward Brown, 26, of Folsom Lane, has been charged with two counts each of sexual offense with a child and taking indecent liberties with a minor. Those offenses involved two boys in 2008, police said.

Brown remains at large. He is out on bond for a first-degree sexual assault charge stemming from an incident in 2006, police said.

According to state Department of Correction records, Brown was convicted of breaking-and-entering and larceny in Orange County in 2001.
