MORRISVILLE, N.C. — Investigators have filed additional charges against a Morrisville man accused of taking indecent liberties with a 13-year-old boy.

Shawn Torres Walters, 43, was charged Monday with one count of first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and one felony count of indecent liberties with a child – charges stemming from a May 23 case in which Walters allegedly sexually assaulted the boy and made him watch pornography.

A search warrant in the case also accused Walters of giving the boy a flash drive with pornographic videos on it.

Walters, of 702 Walnut Woods Drive, was already in jail after being arrested May 30 on two felony counts of indecent liberties with a minor.

He was in the Wake County Detention Center Tuesday under a $500,000 secured bond on the new charges and a $400,000 bond on the May 30 charges.

Police say their investigation continues and haven't ruled out more charges against Walters.
