— Morehead Planetarium and Science Center is offering some new online options for kids and educators called Virtual STEMville.

The programs, for kids in kindergarten to twelfth grade, feature opportunities to explore different topics with scientists and Morehead educators. Teachers also can customize sessions. Current topics include Astronomy Avenue, a Scientist Block Party and Experiment Expressway. They run about 45 minutes each.

Sessions are available weekly at 2 p.m., Tuesdays, and by reservation for schools and large groups on Tuesdays or Wednesdays.

Fees range from $20 for a family to $125 for a full class. There are discounts when multiple sessions are booked and for Morehead members.

More information is on Morehead's website.

For in-person tours, Morehead reopened last year to the public after a massive renovation for visits from families and school groups.
