More than 30 arrested in Nash County during 'Operation Silent Night'

The Nash County Sheriff's Office, with help from other local authorities, made 30 arrests on Wednesday in "Operation Silent Night."

NASH COUNTY, N.C. — The Nash County Sheriff's Office, with help from other local authorities, made 30 arrests on Wednesday in "Operation Silent Night."

According to Nash County Sheriff Keith Stone, "Operation Silent Night" was the culmination of six months of undercover work.

"Operation Silent Night" targeted over 50 street-level narcotic dealers in and around Nash County.

During the operation, a search warrant was conducted on Mt. Zion Church Road. The search warrant resulted in the seizure of $9,435, a semi-automatic rifle, a semi-automatic 9mm pistol, and 2.1 grams of marijuana.

The remaining suspects are still at large and we will continue efforts to locate those individuals.
