right? Yeah. Her backyard is a convalescent home This summer. Gina K. Meyer brings a bottle every morning for her. One patient, a downed calf named cupcake. But she was my cousins, and they had worked with her for a while. We got her when she was five weeks old. She was born with her front legs like that and back legs. Also better back legs straightened up. Gina's husband, Tim, helps out, too, but the nurse spending the most time with cupcake virtually every minute is Bo a puppy, not even a year old himself, but a true friend in the making. The very first day we brought her home and gave her a bottle. He just took up with her, started licking all the milk off her face and took up with her. And what Lever? Both supposed to be Tim's new cattle dog. But his own malady kept him from doing the job he was raised for. I needed some help, thought he'd make good help, but when you put him on truck, he gets sick. So from the very first day, they were inseparable. If Cupcake had bottle, Bo wiped her face. He helped introduce her to a special mix of solid food, but mainly he was a companion. Enough is ferocity, or what it was. He would dislike, buyer and stay with her. These days of cupcake is outside. He keeps your occupied by playing or cuddling. He's protective. He's as close as any animal can be to another. I set out there with them and play with him, too. It is. It's very loving. While working with his legs and hoping for some kind of miracle, Jean has started sharing pictures of this unique friendship on social media. The response was overwhelming. No idea that it would go like that. Her snapshots seemed to capture something that cut right across any divide between human cattle or canine. This right here, this was love in its purest form. Never seen two animals take teach. And they're like that, you know, cupcakes. Future remains in doubt. Gina and her husband started a Go fund me page to raise money for an operation that might not even work. Meanwhile, bow and cupcakes seemed to be making the most of whatever time they might have sticking close like good friends always do, and showing the rest of us how to do the same. Hi, everyone. Meteorologist Anthony Baglione here on this Thursday where of course, we're tracking a whole lot of sunshine here across the state. We take a look outside. It is beautiful out there. Sunshine. We have warm temperatures on the way for us today. Let's talk about the kind of what we have headed this way over the next couple of days. Besides the sunshine. Today, we have a warm Thursday ahead. It's gonna be hot today near 90 this afternoon. Spotty storms though into tomorrow looks like mainly after about two o'clock into tomorrow evening. Spotty is gonna be a good word for it and I'll show you future cast here in just a second. Better rain chances though by the time we get into our Sunday afternoon, Sunday evening, that will be a time period to plan on some rainfall coming through. Otherwise we go today to 87 this afternoon. Some spots Fayetteville, for instance, could hit 90. Certainly. I think it's a good bet for us. 40% chance of some showers and storms though. Tomorrow afternoon does jump up though into Sunday mainly during the evening and then Sunday night, talking about tomorrow though. We do from the storm prediction center have out a risk of some strong to severe storms. The overall threat as it stands right now looks very low. This does not look like a huge severe weather event, but they have us outline in that potential. Nonetheless, we go through futurecast. Here's lunchtime on our Friday. We may have a couple light areas of rainfall. By that point. I think the better chances that would be again after two o'clock or so, mainly from the triangle to the south could see a few pop up storms. This is not a widespread tons of rainfall kind of event for us. And then this gets out of here, maybe just a few lingering spotty showers into tomorrow night for the most part though. If you're headed out into the next couple of days, no big problems until we get into our Sunday with more rain. We go to 87 today, 83 tomorrow, really cooling off there with the rainfall into Sunday at 6365 on Monday. Like I said, best chances of rain come in for us into Sunday afternoon, Sunday night and then should be tapering off by the time we get into early Monday morning of next week.
