Month of Mom: Win a Stay at Home Rock Star shirt!

Here's the next contest in our Month of Mom, our month-long celebration of moms with lots of contests and fun prizes!

Two winners will each win one black Stay at Home Rock Star T-shirt created by Cary Heise, the (very nice) stay at home mom of two in Apex who also runs Social Butterflies.

Heise created the Stay at Home Rock Star T-shirt last year. Check out my interview with her.

Since then, the shirt has only grown in popularity and is found at boutiques across the Triangle and country. She recently launched a website where you can buy the shirts.

Who is the shirt for? Heise says she's not defining what a stay at home rock star is.

As she writes on her website: "Some moms think it is empowering, a pride thing and some think it means 'my kids are cramping my style!' We don't judge. Stay at home, work from home, part time stay at home ... stay at home dad ... we all ROCK!"

How can you enter this contest? One or both of the following ways:

1. Like WRAL Go Ask Mom on Facebook.

2. And for those of you who aren't on Facebook or who already are fans of our Facebook page, you can enter right here on Go Ask Mom. Just answer the following question in the comments section at the bottom of this post. Here's the question: Who is your favorite rock star?

This contest ends at noon May 16. Two winners will be picked at random from all entries. The winners' user name or Facebook name will be posted on this post by 9 p.m. May 16. The winner also will be emailed or contacted through Facebook, if possible. The winner must respond by noon May 20 or a runner-up will be selected. Good luck!
