RALEIGH, N.C. — When Sergio Padilla, the General Manager at "All Day Tires" arrived to work on Tuesday, he found himself walking through almost 4 inches of flood water. After Monday’s storm all that’s left are several damaged cars, hundred of tires lost and expensive equipment drenched in flood water.

“Well, it was like a tornado. Let me tell you. The water raised up so high and it moved everything, it was strong, the water was just moving, you know,” Padilla, said.

The shop, is no stranger to flood damage, two years ago they went through the same thing. This time, flood waters got to a pricey item.

“We have a very expensive car that was damaged so I think that’s going to be a lot of money there but we have at least 14 cars that are damaged,”Padilla, said.

Padilla says they were just about to expand the business with a new shop and more services to offer. Those plans have now been put on hold.

“We’re very upset let me tell you, we were having new equipment brought in, we were trying to make this grow. We have a good team and when we got here it was just all damaged… and It’s heartbreaking!” Padilla, said.

The First Citizens Bank across the tire shop also saw some water damage. All Day Tires, hopes to be back in business by next week at the very latest.
