CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — University of North Carolina Chancellor James Moeser has recommended not to raise tuition next year for in-state students at the Chapel Hill campus.

The proposal comes because the General Assembly provided extra funding to the UNC system this year.

A UNC tuition task force will discuss the recommendation at a meeting later this month.
