Mix 101.5: Final 'Gene and Julie' morning show airs Monday

RALEIGH, N.C. — Officials at Mix 101.5 WRAL-FM have announced that Monday's "Gene and Julie" morning show will be the last.
The Gene and Julie Show, which features husband-and-wife team Gene and Julie Gates, took over mornings on Mix 101.5 in July 2014.
The station will announce its new morning show in the coming days, officials with the radio station said in a news release. Mix 101.5 listeners will continue to hear music, WRAL-TV news, weather and traffic as usual.
Mix 101.5 is owned by Capitol Broadcasting Company, WRAL’s parent company.
