Missing Wilson boy back with parents, police say

The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has canceled a Silver Alert for a missing teenager.

WILSON, N.C. — The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has canceled a Silver Alert for a missing teenager.

Citizens were asked to be on the lookout on Monday for Damian Harris, 14, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

Police located Harris by 12 p.m., and officials say he is okay and with his parents.

Harris is described as a black male with short black hair and brown eyes. He stands 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 172 pounds. He was last seen at 1800-5B London Church Road in Wilson.

Anyone with information about Damian Harris is asked to call Officer Harris at the Wilson Police Department at 252-399-2323.
