A Silver Alert was issued Sunday for a missing 16-year-old boy in Wake Forest, officials said.




<b>WAKE FOREST, N.C.</b> — A missing 16-year-old in Wake Forest was found safe Sunday evening following a Silver Alert, officials said.

Steven Norton was last seen around 3 p.m. at 1116 Miramar Woods Ct. Officials did not say where he was found.

No additional details surrounding the incident were available.

Mykia Daniel, an eighth grader at Ligon Middle School, was shot and killed on Monday in a north Raleigh apartment. A 16-year-old was charged with her murder.
