STALEY, N.C. — Local authorities are becoming "increasingly concerned" about the disappearance of a 17-year-old girl.

Emealia “Emma” Rose Marie Staley, from Staley, was reported missing on December 13.

The circumstances surrounding her disappearance are worrisome, according to Lieutenant Sara Pack with the Chatham County Sheriff's Office. Since she was reported missing, there has been no reported sightings of her and she has had no contact with friends and family.

Staley has connections in Chatham and Orange counties, Pack said.

Multiple agencies are working together to find Staley and officials are widening their search area to find new leads.

Randolph County Crimestoppers are offering a reward to anyone with information that leads to Staley. If anyone has information pertinent to the investigation, call the Randolph County Sheriff's Office at 336-318-6698.
