Missing Rocky Mount woman might have been hurt in fight
Bushilly Atkinson, 24, was last seen leaving 1110 Clark St. around 10:30 a.m. on Friday, police said. She was with her boyfriend, 23-year-old Derek Marcel Etheridge. They were traveling in a white 1999 Lincoln Towncar with North Carolina tag number ZXV7352.

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. — Police are asking for the public’s help to find a missing Rocky Mount woman who might have been injured in an altercation.
Bushilly Atkinson, 24, was last seen leaving 1110 Clark St. around 10:30 a.m. on Friday, police said. She was with her boyfriend, 23-year-old Derek Marcel Etheridge. They were traveling in a white 1999 Lincoln Town Car with North Carolina tag number ZXV7352.
It is unknown if she left willingly with Etheridge. Her condition was not known.
Etheridge is described as 6-foot-2 and 172 pounds. He was last seen wearing all black clothing.
