Missing Robeson County man found safe in Florida

A man who went missing in Robeson County was found safe on Wednesday in Florida.

SAINT PAULS, N.C. — UPDATE: A man who went missing in Robeson County was found safe on Wednesday in Florida.

Maj. Damien McLean with the Robeson County Sheriff's Office said Pablo Hernandez, 75, of Gentle Winds Dr. in St. Pauls, was found in St. Mary, Fla. He is said to be in good health. Officials are working to reunite him with his family.

The Robeson County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help locating a missing man.

Pablo Hernandez, 75, of St. Pauls, was last seen Tuesday in the area of Gentle Winds Drive around 3:20 p.m. He is believed to be suffering from a cognitive impairment.

Officials said Hernandez is 5-foot-3 and 240 pounds. He has brown eyes and gray hair. He walks with two canes and is blind in one eye. He is driving a dark blue 2003 F150 with North Carolina license plate number DHR-6338. The truck has a Cuban flag in the rear window.
